god and the cow

what if god
is god of everything
and loves his dear cows
just as much
as his people
who eat his cows

it's scripture written in man's ink
that grants people the right
to decide
which animals may live
and which must remain
enslaved to mankind

only we have souls
we've decided
the rest are there
for our use
for us to determine
what future awaits them
