democracy and god

if god wants to rule on earth
i suggest he or she enters
an election
and signs the registration form personally
because though democracy isn't perfect
it's the best we have
and all who preach on god's behalf on earth
about everything right and wrong
each has a different idea
of who is pious
and who lives in sin

earlier god was even
pro-apartheid
or maybe god still is

that's why we must insist
when it comes to earthly government
that god speak for itself
and if your name isn't god
please keep your mouth
about god's will
shut
